DESCRIPTION:Mark your calendars for our next Hiking Club event on Sunday\, November 19th at 1:30 pm.\n\nAs a reminder\, all Scouts who hike 25 miles or more over this Scouting year will receive special recognition at our end-of-year event in May.\n\n\n\nWhat to Bring:\n\n– Scouts and other attendees should be sure to pack the Cub Scout Six Essentials: First Aid Kit; Water; Flashlight; Trail Food; Hat; Whistle.\n\n– Sturdy shoes or hiking boots.  Please also dress for the weather: Be Prepared!\n \nRoute: \n \nWe will be hiking along the towpath and keeping an eye out for wildlife.  We’ll hike for about 30-45 minutes out\, and then back the same way\, and will have the official distance tally at the end of the hike. \n\nOther Info:\n \n– As always we’ll be observing the Outdoor Code and Leave No Trace Principles on this hike.
