SUMMARY:Hiking Club - Baldpate Mountain
DESCRIPTION:Our next Hiking Club event will be Sunday\, February 28 at 12:00 pm. We will be hiking Baldpate Mountain (a different starting point and route than our hike in the fall).\n\n\nWhen: Sunday\, February 28 at 12:00 pm\n\nWhere: Baldpate Mountain\, Titusville NJ. We will meet in the parking lot by the Lodge and visitor center (see map)\n\nWhat to Bring:\n\n– Scouts and other attendees should be sure to pack the Cub Scout Six Essentials: First Aid Kit; Water; Flashlight; Trail Food; Sun Protection; Whistle.\n\n– Face mask (which must be worn during the hike in order to comply with the park and the state’s regulations).\n\n– Sturdy shoes or hiking boots.\n\nBe Prepared for the weather!\n \nRoute: \n \nWe will be hiking the NW Loop Trail (the red trail). The hike will be approximately 2.5 miles round-trip – we’ll have the official tally at the end of the hike. \n\nOther Info:\n \nAs always we’ll be observing the Outdoor Code and Leave No Trace Principles on this hike\, as well as the Pack 10 covid guidance.
