SUMMARY:Winter Camping at Ockanickon
DESCRIPTION:The Pack is having a winter camping event\, where we would stay in the cabins at Ockanickon Scout Reservation in Pipersville\, PA. This would be a great event to introduce our Scouts to winter-weather camping and activities. \nAgenda: We are still developing the detailed agenda\, but roughly we plan on arriving at Ockanickon at approximately 4:00 pm on Saturday\, March 7.  We will have plenty of time to explore the camp\, cook dinner\, and have evening activities.  Sunday morning we will make breakfast and have more time for outdoor activities. \nClothing & Gear: There won’t be a need to bring tents\, since the Pack has reserved space in Palmer Lodge at the camp.  While we will be sleeping indoors\, however\, we plan to spend a good deal of time outside\, so it is important to dress appropriately (i.e.\, dress in layers\, hats/gloves as appropriate for the weather\, and pack dry clothes to change into for sleeping).  Attendees should still bring sleeping bags\, as well. \n\nBB Shootout:  Additionally\, the camp will be opening the BB range starting at 12:45 pm on Sunday – please let us know if you are interested in staying later to participate and we can organize the registration.
