2024 – Back to the pack
Hope everyone has had a smooth start to the new school year! We are going to be kicking off the Pack 10 scouting year with our back to the pack event at Core Creek. Scouts will have a chance to participate in activities such as the Raingutter regatta and a pack hike. We will be meeting near the Duchess Lane parking lot. Hope to see you there!

2024 – Hiking Club – 5 Mile Woods
Pack 10 Hiking club will be going on a casual hike at the nearby Five Mile Woods Preserve on Sun, Oct 20th at 2pm. Join us for a family friendly hike on the relatively flat trails at this great local park. While the trails are partially decked, bring proper footware and expect to get muddy shoes if there has been a recent rain. Scouts should come prepared and have their 6 essentials.
Find out more »2024 Fall Campout and Bobcat Crossing Over at Crossing Community Church
Join us at Crossing Community Church (80 Lower Silver Lake Rd, Newtown, PA 18940) to help Pack 10 welcome our newest Scouts as they cross into the Pack and earn their Bobcat rank! Families are invited to camp overnight and we will have a campfire, skits, dinner and other treats. Please RSVP by Monday, October 21, so that we have an accurate headcount for food, and let your Den Leader know if anyone in your family has any dietary restrictions.

Help setup the pumpkins along the canal and clean up the pumpkin carving on Sunday, October 27th from 3:00 - 5:00pm. Scouts should wear their Class A uniforms to represent the Pack as they provide service in our community.

2024 Edgewood Elementary School Fall Cleanup
Join Pack 10 for our fall cleanup event at Edgewood Elementary School on Saturday, November 9th. We will be raking leaves in front of the school and cleaning up our landscape beds. This will be a great chance for our Scouts to give back to the community and to show their school - and Scout spirit. Bring your own rake and gloves, and snacks - and if you have a leaf blower, please bring it! We are also in need of pickup…

Pack 10 is invited to march in the Veteran's Day Parade on Saturday, November 9th at 12:30pm. The parade will march down Edgewood Ave and conclude at the Veteran's square. This is a great opportunity for our Scouts to show support and learn more about the experiences and service of our veterans. Scouts should wear their Class A uniforms to this event.

Please join us for the a food packing and delivery event at the Jewish Relief Agency's warehouse located at 10980 Dutton Road, Philadelphia, PA 19154. From their site: JRA Juniors is designed for families with kids under 10 to join us at our warehouse from 9:00 to 10:00 AM one Sunday a month. Mark your calendars for our next Hiking Club event on Sunday, November 24nd at 6:30 pm. This event will be an "Owl Hike," and we will walk the Delaware Canal towpath by the light of the moon (and our flashlights). We will meet at the parking lot off Black Rock Road and hike along the canal in the dark. Scouts should come prepared and have their 6 essentials (includes flashlight).

2025 Hiking Club – Baldpate Mountain
Our next Hiking Club event will be Sunday, January 12th at 1:00 pm at Baldpate Mountain, Titusville NJ. We will meet at the Pleasant Valley Rd parking lot (see map) What to Bring: - Scouts and other attendees should be sure to pack the Cub Scout Six Essentials: First Aid Kit; Water; Flashlight; Trail Food; Sun Protection; Whistle. - Sturdy shoes or hiking boots. 2025 – Blue and Gold
Pack 10 will be hosting an Ice Cream Social for the 2024 Blue and Gold ceremony at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church Sunday, February 2nd 6:00pm - 7:00pm. We will have ice cream and toppings. Please register in advance so we can plan accordingly. There will also be a Scout Memorabilia Museum. If you have items to share please coordinate with your Den Leader/bring them.
